Barclaycard OnePulse Credit Card
A
genuinely new concept in the progression of credit cards. With this
product you no longer have to worry about cash for small items or having
to remember your pin number. At participating retailers you simply swipe
your card across the card reader and the whole transition is completed
in seconds. There is nothing else to do, no signature required and no
need for punching your PIN number into the terminal interface. Currently
only transactions for £10 or less can be transacted in this manner. (as
a security check every so often you will be asked to input your PIN
number)
To add further to this products attraction it can also be used to replace your existing Oyster card (currently used for transport in London). Just as your oyster card is preloaded and used to swipe across terminal card readers that automatically deduct payment so the OnePulse will hold your travelcards and passes. Indeed it gives even more benefits since it can be set to automatically load the card with £20 or £40 as it falls below £5 of pre-loaded Oyster credits. Oyster is used in London on the Tube, DLR, bus and tram.
And don't forget even with the above benefits it still remains a traditional credit card.
